The Longmen Rubber Track Chassis is a mobile platform system specifically designed for all-terrain applications in orchards. Its core advantages lie in environmental adaptability, precise motion control, and modular integration capabilities. Featuring an IP55 protection rating (effectively resisting dust ingress and all-directional water jets), this product offers a 170kg load capacity, stepless speed adjustment from 0-3km/h, and 360° zero-radius turning on the spot. Key configurations include a 48V/2000W servo motor drive system, a 48V/80Ah lithium battery power unit, and reinforced rubber tracks with a 60mm pitch. It is equipped with an industrial-grade dual-drive controller (fully compatible with CAN bus, PWM signals, and RS-485 communication protocols).
This platform is specifically designed for demanding operating conditions. Beyond orchards, it is also deployed in multi-purpose autonomous inspection (such as power facility and hazardous chemical environment monitoring), firefighting and rescue robotics (ruin navigation and supply delivery), as well as industrial and agricultural automation equipment and scientific research prototype development.

For instance, in industrial inspections, it can carry cameras and sensors for real-time monitoring; in firefighting, its waterproof and high-temperature resistant properties ensure reliable performance during emergencies; in agricultural research, it facilitates field data collection and automated operations.
1. Environmental Conditions
Temperature Range: Continuous operation from -20°C to +60°C (battery performance guaranteed from -10°C to 50°C). In low-temperature environments, automatic thermal management strategies activate to maintain power output. During high-temperature conditions, derating protection prevents system overheating.
Humidity and Precipitation: IP55 protection rating withstands 95% relative humidity and moderate rainfall (25 mm/h). Supports brief water immersion but prohibits high-pressure water jets or prolonged submersion.
2. Terrain Conditions
Ground Adaptability:
Loose Media (Sand, Snow): 60mm pitch rubber tracks deliver low ground pressure (≤15kPa), enabling stable operation on slopes up to 30°;
Rough Hard Surfaces (Gravel, Rubble): Trapezoidal tread pattern provides strong traction, capable of traversing vertical obstacles ≤80mm and trenches ≤120mm;
Confined Spaces: 360° zero-turn capability on the spot, minimum passage width 1.1m.
Limiting Boundaries: Not suitable for ice surfaces (coefficient of friction <0.1), molten asphalt, or deep mud. Requires optional anti-slip teeth or specialized tracks.
3. Chemical and Polluted Environments
Medium Tolerance: Compatible with freshwater and weak acid/alkali solutions (pH 4-10). Self-cleaning track structure expels particles ≤15mm.
Strictly Avoid: Highly corrosive substances (concentrated sulfuric acid >10%, organic solvents), combustible dust (flour/coal dust), and other explosive environments. Requires additional explosion-proof components (custom non-standard).
4. Electromagnetic & Operational Safety
Interference Resistance: Suitable for substations (≥5m from high-voltage equipment), welding workshops, and similar scenarios;
Safety Thresholds: Thermal radiation ≤300°C; toxic gas concentrations require external sensor monitoring, triggering automatic emergency stop upon exceeding limits.
